OUR STORY
It began in 1935, in the village of Kachaura, Hathras, with a vaidya named Shri Krishan Lal Sharma Ji.
He was a healer of the old school — someone who read the classical Samhitas not as history, but as instruction. Neighbours came to him with everyday complaints, and he prepared their remedies by hand, the way the texts prescribed: the right herbs, the right proportions, the right method, and the patience to let each formulation become what it was meant to be.
That patience became a principle. And that principle became Uma Ayurveda.
What started as one vaidya's practice has grown into a modern, GMP-certified manufacturing house producing over 400 classical Ayurvedic formulations — Asava-Arishta, Vati, Bhasma, Rasa, Churna, and more. But through every decade of growth, the founding discipline has never moved: we make Ayurveda the classical way, or we don't make it at all.
